Day 24, Astorga to Rabanal del Camino. 13 miles

Buenos Dias Peregrinos!

To say today was Beautiful is an understatement. 48 degrees to start and never made it over 53 and windy because of the higher elevations. It was a perfect day for hiking through the mountains. If you don't count the part where I tripped on a rock and fell. Don't worry. I landed in the grass and only my pride suffered. There were 3 witnesses. God, Jim and a little old man who kept right on walking. I guess I'm tired. It doesn't matter how much sleep I get my body is still in utter shock of being forced to do all this work. But there are just 10 hiking days left, with another big 20 miler tomorrow.

Yes we are missing home. We miss our family our cats and our own bed. But we would not trade this for the world. Jim has been making a video along the way to put together of the trip. I am sure we have already forgotten so much that it will remind us of.
